(Professor Nicholas Jose is currently Emeritus Professor of English and Creative Writing at the University of Adelaide, Adjunct Professor at Western Sydney University, internationally published and acclaimed author of numerous novels, short stories and essays, and was Cultural Counsellor at the Australian Embassy in Beijing from 1987-1990. Professor Claire Roberts is an historian, curator and China scholar specialising in modern and contemporary Chinese art and currently Professor of Art History and Head of the Art History and Curatorship Program in the School of Culture and Communication at The University of Melbourne.)
