ADVANCE HUMAN HEALTH

Learn about the science that underpins physical activity and exercise, and how it can be used to design, implement and evaluate exercise programs. Gain valuable practical and hands on experience through having access to state-of-the-art facilities, dedicated exercise and sport science labs, as well as sports venues.

Areas of study you can choose from include biometrics, exercise physiology, exercise prescription, motor control and sports psychology. This course will also give you the professional skills you need to deliver high-quality care, with 140 hours of work placements.

Graduates of this degree are eligible for further accreditations in Exercise Physiology or High-Performance Sport (accredited Sport Scientist); or pursue career paths in the fields of strength and conditioning, rehabilitation, health, or research.

Yes, across a diverse range of areas, including physical activity, exercise and health promotion, sport coaching, psychology, sport management, and capacity building through community projects. Take what you learn in the classroom and apply it in the real world, with up to 200 hours of work placements in your third year of study.
