"The Bartier Perry Leadership Scholarship for Women was instrumental in keeping my passion for justice alive by offering a meaningful, hands-on perspective during my studies. The generosity of this program not only offered invaluable financial support but also connected me with a network of successful leaders in law who genuinely believed in my potential and continue to invest in my success, years after I have finished my studies. This scholarship was truly life changing, opening countless doors and opportunities for me."
Why Your Support Matters
Western Sydney is home to one of the most diverse populations in Australia, with nearly half of its residents born overseas and speaking a language other than English at home.
The University and the School of Law are committed to providing equal opportunities for all our Law students, though many aspiring students in our region face genuine financial barriers that hinder their ability to complete their education.
In 2025, the School of Law is educating 2,000 students across its programs, including 51 Indigenous students and 16 students from humanitarian backgrounds. Many of our law students come from low socio-economic backgrounds, presenting unique challenges that the School, in partnership with its supporters, is focused on addressing.
By partnering with us, you will be at the forefront of empowering the next generation of legal professionals to overcome these challenges and achieve their ambitions.
