All gender bathrooms

Many buildings on our campuses include all genderl toilets. The facilities listed below are available for all students and staff to use regardless of gender.

We are working to expand the all gender facilities available across our campuses.

Sanitary Facilities

Sanitary bins have been installed in men's bathroom facilities, accompanied by appropriate signage, meeting the diverse needs of our University community.

These changes have been made to support students and staff in more easily identifying and accessing a facility that meets their needs.

The work is ongoing to ensure all signage is changed.  If you notice any facilities that haven't been updated, please submit a request through Western Now - Signage and Information Display.

Queer rooms

A Queer Room, maintained by The Queer Collective, is located on every campus. The Queer Room provides a safe place where all people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, or otherwise sex and/or gender diverse can relax in an accepting and inclusive environment.
