Greenhouse Gas Emissions

We report our carbon emissions in tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent (t-CO₂e) to:

• the Australian Government's Clean Energy Regulator (opens in a new window) under the National Greenhouse Energy and Reporting (opens in a new window) (NGER) Scheme, and
• the government-backed program Climate Active (opens in a new window).

National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting (NGER)

Each Financial Year (FY) we report emissions for Scopes 1 and 2^# .

• Our base year is FY2013.
• ^# Scope 2 emissions are calculated using the location-based method.

Climate Active

Each Calendar Year (CY) we report emissions for Scopes 1, 2* and 3 under Climate Active (CA) Carbon Neutral Standard for Organisations (opens in a new window).

Our base year is CY2021.

• * Scope 2 emissions are calculated using the market-based method.
