GHG Emissions: NGER

Each financial year (FY), the University reports emissions to the Australian Government's Clean Energy Regulator (opens in a new window) under the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting (NGER) Scheme (opens in a new window) using Emission Factors (EF) outlined in the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting (Measurement) Determination 2008 (opens in a new window).

FY 2024-25

Greenhouse Gas emissions for the 2024-25 financial year were reported to the Clean Energy Regulator under the National Greenhouse Energy Reporting (opens in a new window) (NGER) scheme.

EMISSIONS

Total consumption from sources was 229,864 GJ, creating total GHG emissions 33,662 tonnes carbon dioxide equivalent (t CO₂e) comprising:

• Scope 1: 2,789 t CO₂e
• Scope 2: 30,873 t CO₂e
