The Centre for Smart Modern Construction has brought together the below listed six Professional Institutions involved in Construction Certification under the guidance of the Office of NSW Building Commissioner (OBC), to form a Community of Practice of Construction Assurance Professions.

The first Roundtable which was to establish current landscape of Quantity Surveying and Project Management services in NSW was held on 11 June 2020 and outcomes were summarised into a report. Please click here for further information about the previous event.

The second Roundtable themed, ‘Reshaping the trusted assurer landscape in NSW construction’ is currently being organised and is scheduled to be held in early 2021. It intends to explore assurance related tasks, and relevant professional competencies relevant to compliance and certification services provided by the professions in the three key stages of construction process, i.e. Pre-construction, Construction, and Post-construction.
