Y&R publishes its 2024 Annual Report
SYDNEY, June 2: 2024 marked another outstanding year for the Young and Resilient Research Centre which was reflected recently in the publication of our 2024 Annual Report.
Key highlights from the year include:
- Nearly doubling our external research income to $1,892,764 in 2024, up from $1,097,642 in 2023.
- Submitting 25 proposals with a staggering 84% success rate.
- Releasing 37 publications.
- Launching 11 new projects and completing 13 existing projects.
- Appearing in 275 media stories which reached an audience of over 18 million people in countries as diverse as Australia, Indonesia, the United Kingdom, China, Vietnam, Singapore, the Philippines, Taiwan and the United States.
- Receiving four awards and one nomination which were:
- Winner, Research Excellence Through Industry Engagement and Partnership, Western Sydney University Excellence Awards
- Winner, Research Excellence in Sustainability Impact, Western Sydney University Excellence Awards
- Nominee - Excellence in Research Impact, Western Sydney University Excellence Awards
- Winner, 2024 Mayer Prize, Australian Journal of Political Studies - Philippa Collin, Judith Bessant and Rob Watts
