Young People
Your ideas and experiences matter. At Y&R, children and young people like you can help shape research about your own lives: from sharing your views and taking part in research workshops, to joining our community of young people, or working as paid youth co-researchers on our projects. If you’re aged 12-25, there are different ways to get involved, whether you want to participate once, twice, or stay connected longer!
Youth Insights Community
Join a community of young people connected to Y&R. Receive regular updates on activities and events, choose opportunities that match your interests and availability, hear how young people’s ideas are shaping our research, and be a part of a network of young people making positive change.
Research Participation
Share your experiences and views on things you care about by coming along to one of our research workshops, taking part in an interview or completing a survey. Sign up to our Youth Insights Community to get updates on these opportunities!
Co-Research Opportunities
Express your interest in becoming a youth co-researcher at Y&R. Our youth co-researchers are involved in real life research projects from start to finish. They receive practical research training, contribute their unique expertise and ideas, and gain valuable experience working on meaningful projects.
Open Mic
Got something to say? Share your ideas, experiences and opinions on issues that matter to you by writing or creating content for Open Mic – our platform for young people’s voices. Your contribution may be published on the Y&R website and shared with the wider community.
