Parramatta City campus

About Parramatta City campus

Our foundation high-rise campus, the Peter Shergold building, is an accessible, flexible, technology-infused facility in the heart of Parramatta CBD.

The state-of-the-art building with 26,500 square metres of floor space opened in 2017 and caters for up to 10,000 students, mainly in the School of Business and the Sydney Graduate School of Management. “In just two years we have realised our vision to develop a world-leading campus that not only gives our students an enriched and unparalleled learning experience but which is also deeply embedded in the economic, social and civic life of Parramatta – it is an achievement we are immensely proud of,” said Western Sydney University’s Vice-Chancellor and President, Professor Barney Glover AO.  Named after Western Sydney University chancellor Peter Shergold, the new building is the most technologically advanced of any Australian university.
