Net Zero Cities CRC

Project Summary
The Net Zero Cities Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) is a developing 10-year initiative (2026-2036) that brings together industry, government, and research partners in a deep collaboration to advance Australia’s Net Zero Economy. With a $127 million investment, the project delivers four cross-cutting research programs in social activation, digital innovation, circular solution, and real-world demonstration at scale in strategic city environments.
The CRC creates a unique platform driving cross-sector, enabling industry and research partners to co-design, test, and implement in city scale living labs, leading to urban transformation.
