Next-Generation Net Zero Living Lab: STEM Pathways in Green Construction

Project Overview

The Next-Generation Net Zero Living Lab: STEM Pathways in Green Construction directly supports the Toyota Community Trust’s commitment to helping young Australians overcome barriers to STEM participation, further study and future careers. The project is designed for students who may have limited access to practical, industry-connected and culturally relevant STEM opportunities. It places a primary focus on First Nations students, complemented by engagement with students from low socioeconomic status and rural/regional-fringe communities.

Key Outputs

The project will deliver a Living Lab STEM Education Toolkit, student-informed design insights, reusable STEM learning resources, and a tested engagement model that can be progressively expanded through the Net Zero Living Lab over the next 10 years.
