Associate Professor Ataur Rahman is a highly productive and respected HDR supervisor. In the last five years, he supervised eight PhD students to successful completion. Currently, he is Principal Supervisor of ten PhD students. Rahman’s PhD students are known for their publication output - on average 24 papers per student. Their publications have received 1269 citations in Google Scholar. His HDR student completion rate is 100%, with 3.5-year average time of completion. His former HDR students are employed by respected organisations like WaterNSW and Sydney Water. Two of his PhD students have co-authored chapters in the Australian Rainfall and Runoff - the National Guideline.
