Christopher Youness, Associate Director, HR Partnerships, Office of Human Resources

Chris’ role as Associate Director, HR Partnerships has a significant impact across the breadth of the University. This role requires an ability to manage HR Partnership staff in such a way that they are empowered to act and advise across the University whilst still maintaining an overview of activities to ensure the business provides an effective and consistent application of HR policy and practice. Chris does this admirably. He is well respected by his team and by senior managers across the University. Specifically, this year, Chris has stepped up to take a lead role in the implementation of the Shared Services Program, including a new central Recruitment and Casual Administration Management service, whilst furthering the implementation of the CEPI (Casual Employment Process Improvement) project. These initiatives have been major projects of great importance to the University. Chris’ leadership on both of these projects has been first rate. He is a huge asset to the University.
