Biography

Dr Quang Vinh Nguyen is an associate professor in visual analytics who main research areas are Visual Analytics and Information Visualization particularly for genomic, flow cytometry and biomedical data, network and application based data. He is also interested in the areas of Human Computer Interaction, Virtual and Mixed Reality and related research areas.

His research is now focusing on theoretical and domain specific research on Visual Analytics and Information Visualisation based on the synergy of both human's visual strength and automated analysis, particularly for large scale-relational data and network, genomic, flow cytometry and other medical data analysis and related applications. He belongs to the School of Computer, Data and Mathematical Sciences, Human-Machine Interaction research program at MARCS Institute and THRI.
