Associate Professor of Paramedicine
Biography
Paul is a registered paramedic and Associate Professor of Paramedicine at Western Sydney University (WSU). He is Deputy Chair of the WSU Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC), Deputy Chair/Chair-Elect of the Australasian Council of Paramedicine, and a Practitioner Member of Paramedicine Council of NSW.
He previously served as Director of Academic Program (Paramedicine) at WSU (2013-2022), and as Editor in Chief of the international journal 'Paramedicine' (2021-2026).
Outside of these roles, Paul is a strong advocate for sustainable academic life. Having once lost his own balance, he now gives voice to balance in life and supporting people develop values-based academic and professional careers.
