Biography
Dr Ogbo is a lecturer in the Master of Epidemiology and MBBS degree programs at the School of Medicine, Western Sydney University. Dr Ogbo studied at the University of Benin (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, MBBS), Benue State University (Master in Health Management), and Western Sydney University – Master of Public Health (Hons) and Doctor of Philosophy.
Dr Ogbo's research interests include global health and maternal and child health, including childhood undernutrition. Dr Ogbo led both hospital- and community-based initiatives in Nigeria, with interest in scaling up the uptake of evidence-based interventions for improving health outcomes. He has coordinated the Early Years Research Group – a multi-disciplinary and multi-institutional research collaboration – at the Ingham Institute for Applied Medical Research in Sydney.
