A/Prof Anoop Sankaranarayanan a general adult psychiatrist with extensive clinical and senior managerial experience of working in Australia and overseas. He has been actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and research and has published in peer reviewed journals. A/Prof Sankaranarayanan was a member of the Committee for Examinations (CFE) with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists.
A/Professor Sankaranarayanan’s research interests includes:
- Schizophrenia: in particular, social cognition, cognition, and metabolic syndrome
- Suicide and self-harm behaviours
- Cognitive dysfunction and dementia
