EDRS Early Career Investigator Award


Beatriz Martin Monzon was recently awarded the Early Career Investigator Award for her abstract submission for the 2018 Eating Disorders Research Society (EDRS) Conference.

The abstract, "Brain water diffusion changes in adolescent girls with anorexia nervosa", was highly regarded by the EDRS board and Beatriz will give an oral presentation on Saturday, October 27th during the Top Abstracts & Awards Session at EDRS 2018.

EDRS is an international organization of researchers in the field of eating disorders interested in anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge-eating disorder and obesity. The purpose of the organization is to hold an annual scientific meeting during which the most recent research in the field can be presented and discussed.

Beatriz is a THRI PhD candidate supervised by Professor Phillipa Hay (SOM, THRI), Professor Vaughan Macefield (SOM), Professor Stephen Touyz (USyd), Dr Nasim Foroughi (SOM, THRI), Professor Luke Henderson (USyd).
