Whether you struggled at school, haven't studied before or worked in a long time, use English as your second language, or face academic or personal obstacles, our committed team are here to help.

Student Services

Navigating around The College for the first time can be a bit overwhelming, especially with things like enrolment, choosing a timetable and working out where your classes are, so thankfully we have an excellent Student Services Team to help you. Located at Student Central, the friendly crew are willing to go above and beyond to ensure even the smallest queries have been answered.

The Student Services phone number has now changed to the Student Central Infoline - 1300 668 370. Please call this number and choose option three.

The Student Services teams on Bankstown and Penrith (Kingswood) campuses have relocated and can be found in the main Student Central office:

First Year Experience Coordinators

Whether you're after academic or course advice, general assistance, or need help with a specific or personal issue, the First Year Experience Co-ordinators are your go-to people for support outside the classroom. Our Coordinators are friendly and approachable, and trained to identify if you're struggling and work with you on a resolution-based plan to get you back on track.

Student Counsellors

We understand people come to The College from all walks of life, and some struggle with personal obstacles such as low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, and a range of hurdles that can prevent them from doing their best. If this sounds like you, our team of highly-trained counsellors are here to provide you with personal advice and support, from academic to personal issues – no problem is too small. Disability Support Services

Our team of professional Disability Advisors are trained to help people with disabilities, chronic health conditions and short-term injuries reach their full academic potential. To ensure all students have an equal opportunity to learn, we provide a range of services, such as academic note-takers, transcription of videos/podcasts, training and access to assistive technology and pre-admission advice. Welfare Services

The Welfare Service has professionally trained Student Welfare Officers who can provide advice, support and assistance to students on a range of issues. This may include understanding University policies and procedures like special consideration, review of grade, withdrawal without academic penalty, appeal against exclusion and conditional enrolment, and support at academic, research and/or general misconduct hearings.

The service also includes the provision of a range of practical support to students experiencing financial hardship. Finally, the service also provides assistance to students in getting information on other matters like Centrelink, accommodation, sexual health and other welfare related concerns.

International Student Support

It can be tough coming to a new country where you may not know anyone or speak the language, which is why we have teams of multi-lingual Student Advisors on every campus. Our Advisors routinely go out of their way to ensure you're doing well in class, making friends, enjoying your experience at The College, and help with anything you're unsure about, from accommodation options to the top tourist destinations in Sydney.

Support For Aboriginal And Torres Strait Islanders

The College aspires to be a place that brings equity of access, inclusiveness and excellence to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders. The Ngaramada Indigenous Student Centre in Nirimba offers a range of services and support to guide Indigenous students through their study and help provide an enriching experience.
