Speech Perception in Noise

Our project aims to better understand problems that elderly people have in recognising speech in noise.

The research will potentially address a number of issues concerning where speech perception problems arise and how communication is facilitated (e.g., by seeing the talker).

This research will contribute to theories of audiovisual speech perception, production and multisensory integration.
