Biography

Dr Paul Strutt is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Psychology (SoP), Western Sydney University, and a Clinical Neuropsychologist in private practice. He combines his academic and clinical practice in his research, currently undertaking a range of projects broadly within the field of neuropsychology as a member of the SoP Neuropsychology Research Group (NRG). His current work explores ways to improve the recognition and impact of cultural and linguistic diversity on neuropsychology practice, the role of clinical neuropsychology in the diagnostic assessment of ADHD in adults, and through collaboration with other members of MARCS, is exploring the role of virtual reality for cognitive assessment, screening, and support for diagnosis of cognitive disorders. Dr Strutt’s research also explores modifiable risk factors for cognitive decline and dementia, including hearing loss and multimodal intervention for dementia risk reduction.
