Green Materials and a Sustainable Environment: Taiwan Immersion

This two-week program, designed by The Academy in collaboration with Tamkang University (TKU), has a strong environmental focus on green materials and water technologies, and is both academically and culturally rich with industry visits to water reservoirs and purification facilities. It also includes immersive cultural activities such as Tea Ceremonies, Chinese Culture Martial Arts, visiting the Gold Museum, Taipei, and the National Center for Traditional Arts, Yilan County.

Students stay on the Tamsui campus and interact with Taiwanese students from Tamkang University which will allows students to get a real cultural experience, learn basic Taiwanese Mandarin, foster relationships with their Taiwanese counterparts, and of course, try some bubble tea. Tamsui is a famous tourist destination with various architecture and landscape. It is also a historic harbour where the Tamsui River meets the ocean.
