Important Advice for SIBT Pathway Students regarding major selections (B. Accounting)

If students choose an added major in Financial Planning OR Taxation, the four free electives could/would be taken up by the four listed units for credit (200922, 200300, 200912 and 200083). If the student chooses Financial Planning AND Taxation, they will have one free elective and in that case three of the four listed units for credit may need to be rescinded or not be counted towards the 240 total credit points required for completion. SIBT students seeking advanced standing into the Bachelor of Accounting must consult with an Accounting Academic Course Advisor business.courses@westernsydney.edu.au before applying for advanced standing as this will impact upon their ability to complete the optional Financial Planning and/or Taxation majors.

* Please note that only up to a maximum of 80cps can be granted.
