Information for Providers
Western Sydney University values its partnerships with TAFENSW and selected private vocational education and training (VET) and higher education (HE) colleges. Aligning with the University's Securing Success 2015 - 2020 Strategic Plan (PDF, 1876.3 KB)(opens in a new window) these partnerships play an important role in expanding higher education participation and attainment through a comprehensive range of programs and pathways. Supporting a distinctively student centred approach, collaborations with a growing number of tertiary education providers offer a range of pathways that emphasise excellence and opportunity for the western Sydney region and its people. These aim to support access and recognition opportunities using seamless movement between vocational education and training and higher education, and prepare students for employment opportunities designed to contribute to a strong local, national and global economy.
Western Sydney University has strong links with TAFENSW, particularly Western Sydney and South Western Sydney TAFE Institutes. Unless otherwise specified, TAFE pathways apply to all students studying at any TAFE college across NSW. For enquiries on existing pathways, or to discuss new pathway proposals, please email us
