How it works:
- Download the free iNaturalist app (opens in new window) on your phone.
- Join your campus team from the list above.
- Go exploring! Observe any plant or animal you encounter on campus, inside buildings or out. Take a photo or video and upload it to the app.
- Share your observations with the community, learn from experts, and refine your identification skills.
- Contribute to science: Your data will be used to monitor biodiversity and inform our Climate Positive and Nature Positive efforts.
It's that simple! No prior experience is needed, and every observation counts. Your observations could range from a spider in the corner of your classroom, to the native trees that hang over our footpaths, to the kangaroos who hop around around grassy fields.
