🎓Study with Integrity: Complete the AIM

The Academic Integrity Module, or AIM for short, is an online module available to all Western Sydney University students in MySR. This learning module will give you an introduction to studying with integrity, ensuring that you have access to information about integrity, the support available to you at Western, and how to take the values of integrity into your future career.

If you are a student, you will see the AIM in your MySR dashboard. Complete the module as soon as possible so you can ensure you understand the academic integrity standards for your study.

This online module and quiz should only take you around an hour to complete. To complete the module, you must receive 100% in the quiz.

The Academic Integrity Module was developed with WSU Student Partners to ensure that it is engaging and valuable for the Western student community.

I am a student, where can I find the Academic Integrity Module?
  • Students can access the Academic Integrity Module in MySR from the student landing page by clicking the ‘Academic Integrity Module’ tile.
  • To complete the module, follow the guidance in the module and complete the quiz at the end of the module. Ensure you get 100% on the quiz to mark the module as completed.

Where can I go for help with the Academic Integrity Module?
  • If you have questions or need help with the content of the AIM, contact the Library for assistance.
  • If you are having technical issues with the MySR page, contact ITDS for assistance.
I am a student and completing the AIM is part of my subject or program, where can I find it?
All students should see the AIM in MySR and complete it there.
I have access to a vUWS site for NOAW0004: Academic Integrity Module, can I do the AIM in vUWS?
No, these sites will be closed soon. Students who are already enrolled in those sites may have access until they are closed, but you are advised to complete the module in MySR and not vUWS.
Can I get proof of completing the Academic Integrity Module?
At this stage, an automated AIM completion certificate is not available.
Will the AIM appear on my graduation document?
The AIM will only appear on a student’s graduation document if they had completed it while it was a subject in vUWS between 2023 and early 2025. If you complete the AIM as part of the MySR implementation, it will not appear on your documents.
If I don’t complete the AIM, does this prevent me from registering into subjects, getting my results, or completing/graduating, etc.?
No, if a student doesn't complete the AIM they are not encumbered in any way.
I am a staff member who would like to view the Academic Integrity Module
Please contact the Library to access a staff version of the AIM.
I am a student who has already done the Academic Integrity Module in vUWS, do I need to do it again in MySR?
No, if you have done the old vUWS version of the AIM, you don't need to do it again in MySR.
I am a student who has been directed to do the Academic Education Guidance & Integrity Standards (AEGIS) Module as an outcome of a Misconduct case or issue, where can I complete the AEGIS?

You need to complete the ACADEMIC EDUCATION GUIDANCE & INTEGRITY STANDARDS (AEGIS) module, which is still in vUWS. You can self-enrol in AEGIS using the following link:
