Program Specific Progression Rules

Foundation Studies and Undergraduate Preparation Program

A student who has achieved a Grade Point Average (GPA) less than 5.0 in a Foundation Studies or Undergraduate Preparation Program will be required to Show Cause as to why they should not be Excluded.

Professional Entry Medical Programs

(1) A student’s academic standing in Professional Entry Medical Programs are assessed on the criteria outlined in this clause only:

Graduate Diploma in Child Health

Progression in the Graduate Diploma in Child Health will be assessed following each block.

As this program is ungraded, a student’s progression will be assessed based on attempted credit points for the term, with the following rules in place:

Multiple Subject Fail

Diploma in Culture, Society and Justice

Students in this program study in Block Mode (intensive) delivery while also completing a preparatory subject across multiple blocks.

Progression for students in this program will be assessed every four blocks. Each stage of the Progression Policy will be implemented for this cohort.
