Mr Reyad Ranjon Roy

Biography

Reyad Ranjon Roy, verge to submit his PhD thesis at Western Sydney University, Australia. Prior to that, he completed M.Sc in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IITD). He also worked as a Lecturer at the World University of Bangladesh from April 2017 to January 2018. He has a passion to think out of the box always. In his PhD thesis, he is trying to develop a Chloramine decay model for the water distribution systems. The model is developing through aquatic chemistry and incorporating different software like Aquasim, Epanet. In Master's, he tried to design and model SBR (Sequencing Batch Reactor) for STP (Sewage Treatment Plant). Apart from these, he worked as a trainee structural engineer at a 10th storied eco-friendly building project in Kolkata, India which was undertaken by Mackintosh burn limited. He has been awarded a prestigious Research Training Program (RTP) scholarship to pursue his PhD at WSU.
