Mr Hamid Sediqi

Biography

Hamid Sediqi completed his Bachelors of Science, Majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in 2015. He has been a PASS facilitator for 4 semesters, and has facilitated many units including Introductory Chemistry, Essential Chemistry 2, Organic Chemistry 2, Functional Proteins and Genes (Biochemistry 1) and Metabolism. He has also been involved in pioneering and moderating ePASS for the unit Metabolism. Notably, Hamid was nominated for an international award for the category of 'Australasian's Outstanding New PASS leader' in 2015. As a result of his commitment to PASS and his leadership skills, Hamid was appointed as a PASS mentor after only 1 semester. His responsibilities involve guiding, and providing advice to new and experienced PASS facilitators to ensure that the high quality of the PASS program at UWS is maintained. Hamid has also demonstrated laboratory classes for Introductory Chemistry in autumn semester of 2015. He is currently demonstrating laboratory classes for Metabolism, and teaching workshop classes for Essential Chemistry 2.
