Biography

Terri has worked at UWS since 2004 and is a member of the Employment Relations group in the School of Business.  Before joining Western Sydney University, Terri worked at the University of Wollongong and RMIT. Her qualifications are BCom(Industrial Relations), UNSW; MCom(Hons)(Industrial Relations) UNSW, and PhD, Univeristy of Wollongong.  Terri has coordinated many different units addressing all aspects of industrial relations, human resource management, organisational change, diversity and business communication.  Currently, she coordinates 200614 Enterprise Industrial Relations (2nd year), 200740 Human Resource and Industrial Relations Strategy (3rd year), and 200861 Work Health and Safety (an online unit 3rd year).  Terri supervises Honours, Masters of Research and PhD students in areas such work health and safety; recruitment and selection/career experience of immigrant workers; aesthetic/emotional labour qualities, industrial relations, HRM in Vietnam, performance management, and work/family issues.  She has also served as Head of Program for six programs, including the MBA. She was an elected member of the School Academic Committee and Academic Senate for three terms.  Currently, she is the health and safety representative for the School of Business and a member of the university's WHS Committee.
