Biography

Professor Kath Peters is the Associate Dean (International and Engagement) in the School of Nursing and Midwifery. Kath has successfully led multiple research projects to completion and has a track record in ensuring research outcomes with over 130 peer-reviewed publications and over 70 conference presentations. She is President of the Sigma Xi Omicron Chapter at Large and is an active peer-reviewer for several national and international nursing journals. Her research interests include: Women’s and Family Health, Marginalised Groups and Workforce Issues. She has expertise in all aspects of qualitative research with a particular interest in feminist methodology.  Kath provides mentorship to BN (Advanced) students and is dedicated to the mentorship of research students having supervised 11 PhD and 9 BN(Hons) students to completion.
