Biography

Margot Dunphy is a full-time lecturer in journalism within the Bachelor of Communication, Screen Media and Creative Industries degrees. She is the current Journalism Area Convenor in the School of Humanities and Communication Arts. Margot has over ten years experience in the broadcast and digital journalism field, having worked in the United States as a reporter and producer for radio and television news. She has more than six years experience in academia teaching units in journalism and communication. Margot is currently completing a doctoral degree part-time at Western Sydney University. Her research focuses on foreign women in Japan during the post bubble era.
