Biography

Yong holds a Ph.D. from Southern Cross University, two masters from the University of Adelaide and two bachelors from Dongbei University of Finance and Economics. He’s a full membership of CPA Australia. Yong has over 6 years teaching and research experience in accounting discipline inside and outside Australia. He has been teaching all levels of financial accounting (advanced, intermediate, principles and theory), management accounting, and computerized accounting. Research undertaken to date has centered on carbon accounting, asset impairment, earnings management, corporate disclosure, SMEs and SOEs. Yong’s work has appeared in peer reviewed accounting journals (e.g. Review of Accounting and Finance; Corporate Ownership and Control). He is a frequent presenter at international conferences around world (e.g. U.S., Australia, NZ and China).
