Doctor Paul Stoodley

Doctor Paul Stoodley

Senior Lecturer, Cardiac Sonography,
School of Medicine

Biography

Paul is an accredited cardiac sonographer with wide experience in adult cardiac sonography. He has worked in public and private settings, and his experience includes exercise and Dobutamine stress echocardiography, and echocardiography in adult congenital heart disease. He is the coordinator of the cardiac sonography program at Western Sydney University (Graduate Diploma in Cardiac Sonography & Master of Cardiac Sonography). His research interest includes the clinical application of myocardial strain imaging, which was the focus of his PhD thesis (University of Sydney), and in ways to enhance sonographer education. Paul joined Western in 2014.
