The focus of my teaching and research is on equity and diversity issues in Education. Before joining WSU, I held academic posts in a number of Higher Education Institutions in the UK, including, the University of East London, the University of Greenwich, the College of St Mark & St John and St Mary’s University College. The roles I held in these institutions included Program Director of the BA in Education studies at St Mary’s and, subsequently, of the Master’s in Youth & Community Work which I developed at the University of East London, where I also supervised undergraduate and postgraduate research students.
