Biography

As an analytical economist, I am formally rated among the top 1.2% of 64,080 auhtors/economists of our globe & ranked among top 20 living Australian authors/economists - 1420 listed by RePEc (my 145 recent publications - out of 175 - are available from the ORCID ID: 0000-0001-6841-7791). Since 2000 I have published 40+ papers in top tier journals (Q1 and Q2 or ABDC Premium Journals), seven (7) research monographs and 80+ other papers and book chapters.  In recent years I published in top-tier journals such as Urban Studies, Journal of Development Studies, Applied Economics, Energy Policy, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Sustainability, International Review of Economics and Finance, Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews, International Review of Financial Analysis; EJournal of Taxation Research; Envionmental Science and Pollution Research. In 2023 my papers were accepted for publication in top-tier journals such as Technological Forecasting and Social Change; Renewable Energy; Financial Innovation, Tourism Economics  etc.  As a "Distinguished Scholar" of the Flagship Project of Asian Development Bank (ADB) and  ADB Institute ( ASEAN, PRC and India: The Great Transformation} I have influenced global policy-making to fight economic and social exclusion in Asia. 5. I held chair professorships, also visiting professorships at leading universities of the world such as EUV (Frankfurt, O), State University of New York, Boston University, Indian Statistical Institute, JNU, Delhi School of Economics among others. I led a multi-country policy centre, as its inaugural director, tor crafting policies to create and fuel sustainability in the South Pacific.
