Associate Professor Leanne Rylands

Associate Professor Leanne Rylands

Associate Professor,
Mathematics & Statistics

Biography

I am currently a member of the Centre for Research in Mathematics and Data Science, School of Computing, Engineering and Mathematics. One of my research interests is combinatorics.

I am also head of the Mathematics Education Support Hub, which provides maths and stats support for all WSU students as well as assistance to staff for matters relating to maths and stats teaching, curriculum and assessment. Amother research interest is in mathematics tertiary education with an emphasis on first-year mathematics.

I also have an interest in permutation puzzles (for example Rubik's Cube).
