My research is focused on environmental and resource sustainability with an emphasis on sustainable development, pollution control, climate change, ocean governance, and the management of marine resources.

My research work addresses global and regional environmental issues that are of international significance. Special consideration is given to the issues associated with implementing international marine and river legal regimes and critical examination of the major causes behind the lack of implementation of those legal instruments in various parts of the world oceans.
