Western to officially Welcome W-League Wanderers team onto campus


The Western Sydney Wanderers W-League team has officially kicked off their pre-season training and will make Kingswood campus their home.  If you are early to arrive on campus you will see the Wanderers training on the front oval, in the gym and around building P.  Four international Wanderers players will also make Kingswood their residential home. 

To officially welcome the team onto campus we will be holding an exclusive Western Staff, Student & community event. Please see details below:

8.00 am - 12 noon

The first 50 staff or students to arrive at Kingswood Oval will receive a Wanderers gift bag including x1 ticket to the Sydney Derby match (8 October at ANZ stadium), tickets to all W-League games, a WSW hat & stress ball - 2 lucky gift packs will have a W-League signed jersey

8.00 am - arrival at Playhouse Foyer on Kingswood Campus (Building D marked on map below) - enjoy Wanderers cup cakes and breakfast on us

8.15 am - Official welcome to the Wanderers & a few words from John Tsatsimas - Wanderers CEO & Professor Kevin Dunn - Dean - School of Social Sciences & Psychology

8.30 am - Presentation from Female Uni Games team members to W-League team members

9.00 am - close to formal proceedings

9.15 am - midday - Football skills clinic on Kingswood Oval (sports fields marked on map below).  Come and learn a few tips from the Wanderers players, compete in the Penalty shoot out, take your picture with a player and print it on the Instagram printer #welcomewanderers
