Edition 6 2021

We're Go-Live Ready

go live ready

Over the weekend of 14-15 August, the SMS Project Team performed a simulation test of what will occur for Go-Live in the days leading up to 6 October 2021.

This is the fourth simulation, called SIM 4, that the Project Team have undertaken over the past year. This time, the simulation is as close as what will happen at the actual Go-Live scenario. To give you an idea of the magnitude of the simulation test here are some numbers.

What does passing SIM 4 mean?

The success of SIM 4 means that the SMS Project Team is confident that the systems are ready for Go-Live. As the most comprehensive and successful simulation that has been conducted for the New SMS, we are now confident that the transition to Banner on 6 October 2021 will be accomplished smoothly.

The systems are ready for Go-Live. Are you?

The SMS Practice Adoption Team waited for the SIM 4 to be successfully completed before rolling out widespread training for staff across all the systems. You should already have completed you the Overview Mandatory Training Module and, if not, use the link below to complete it before enrolling in additional training.
