CPD opportunity: Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Registrar Program
Information: This flyer provides information on a program we will be offering from the beginning of 2024 – RELATE – Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Registrar Program. Research Study: We are looking for Health Care Professionals with experience in stroke care to join a Research Study.Are you a registered health care professionals in Australia with experience in stroke care? If yes, it would be great to hear from you about your clinical experiences and perceptions on supporting informal carers of stroke survivors.As part of the study, you will be asked to complete a sociodemographic questionnaire and participate in an interview for approximately 60 minutes. Participants will receive a $20 digital gift voucher as a small token of thanks for their time.Your knowledge and experience will significantly contribute to our understanding of supporting informal carers in the context of stroke care.Ready to share your views? Research Participation Opportunity: Researchers from Swinburne invite you to participate in a research study that is investigating the lived experiences of psychologists with a history of non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI). Inclusion criteria: Hold provisional or general registration, including additional areas of practice endorsement; Have a history of non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI) (this includes anyone who has intentionally self-injured without suicidal intent at least once in their lifetime); Have not engaged in NSSI for the last 12 months; Do not have current suicidal ideation. Research opportunity: Are you an adult with disability or a clinician who supports adolescents and adults with disabilities? Are you interested in trialling a Virtual Reality sensory room and telling us what you think about it? Some researchers at Western Sydney University and The University of Wollongong in partnership with The Disability Trust are exploring how a VR sensory room could be used to support adults with disabilities.  This study has been approved by Western Sydney University’s Human Ethics Committee (H14692). You’ll be given the opportunity to learn about and/or experience the virtual reality sensory room if you would like to and then participate in an interview about the experience.
