Call for Abstracts

"The Midwifery Paradox" WSU/WSLHD Midwifery Conference Friday 20 November, 2026

WSU/WSLHD invites abstracts for their annual conference at The Blacktown Clinical School, Blacktown Hospital.

This year's theme is 'The Midwifery Paradox', which can be defined as: The challenge of maintaining a woman-centred, relationship-based philosophy of care within increasingly medicalised, technology-driven, and risk-averse maternity systems.

Abstracts based on current research and clinical innovations, that demonstrate new knowledge will be considered.

Submissions should be no more than 250 words and include: Introduction, Aim, Method, Results, and Conclusion.
