Staff Exchange with University of Maribor

In February the School hosted two academics from the University of Maribor, Faculty of Health Science from Slovenia: Assoc. Prof. Sabina Fijan and Assist. Prof. Petra Povalej Brzan for three months.

The staff exchange was funded by the Mobility Project of Slovene Higher Education Professors 2017-2018, implemented within the framework of the European Union Operational Programme for the implementation of the cohesion policy for the period 2014-2020.

Both visiting professors were located at the Parramatta Campus and presented their research work at the Dean’ Research Seminar on the 28 February. They engaged in teaching and learning activities and collaborated on research projects with the Schools’ academics.

It was delightful to have them here and the School looks forward to more exchange opportunities in the new year.
