Hospital Partnerships
Western Sydney University's School of Medicine has relationships with a series of hospitals around South Western Sydney.
- Bankstown/Lidcombe Hospital - Students undertake placements at Bankstown Base/Lidcombe Hospitals in Medicine and Surgery.
- Bathurst Hospital - The Rural Clinical School is housed at Bathurst Hospital, and students undertake a 12 month immersive placement.
- Blacktown Hospital
- Campbelltown and Camden Hospital - The Macarthur Clinical School is housed at Campbelltown and Camden Hospital.
- Fairfield Hospital - Students undertake placements for their Obstetrics and Gynaecology attachments at Fairfield Hospital.
- Lismore Hospital - Students undertake a 12 month immersive placement.
- Liverpool Hospital - A number of academic teams engaged in clinical service delivery are based at Liverpool Hospital and also researching as part of the Ingham Institute for Applied Medical Research (opens in a new window). The areas of clinical service delivery and research include Medical Oncology, Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, Pathology, and Surgery. Students undertake placements at Liverpool Hospital in Medicine and Surgery.
