General Practice
The Department of General Practice Unit is located at the School of Medicine, Campbelltown campus of the University, with rural schools in Bathurst and the Northern Rivers. We are committed to a strong primary care sector and work collaboratively to deliver high quality teaching and learning experiences so that our graduates understand and value the many roles of general practitioners in primary health care. We enjoy strong relationships with a large number of community-based General Practice Supervisors who provide clinical placement teaching to our students across all years. We have a strong research track record, including in the areas of health equity, Aboriginal health, health services, the health of justice-involved people, and clinical trials. We invite you to contact us any time with your questions and ideas.
