Supporting the Staff who Support Students
Professional and academic staff, clinical supervisors and student peers are often faced with students who have concerns. These concerns may range from seemingly trivial timetabling queries to rare, but distressing, emergencies. With support from the Australian and New Zealand Association of Health Professional Educators (ANZAHPE), Australian Collaborative Education Network (ACEN) and the University of Melbourne, these training resources were created to address research findings on the impact of responding to student concerns – particularly on "front line" professional staff and student peers.
