The Western Sydney University UniClinic speech pathology service is staffed by students under professional supervision by experienced and skilled speech pathologists. A diverse range of services is offered to clients over the age of 18, catering to both in-person and online appointments. This dual modality extends convenience to clients, enabling them to receive expert guidance and support remotely, or in the UniClinic at Campbelltown. A free shuttle bus operates between Macarthur train station and the UniClinic.
Staff at the UniClinic provide expertise in assessing and managing a range of adult communication and swallowing presentations, including voice disorders, gender-affirming voice therapy, speech and language, and dysphagia (difficulty swallowing). The clinic aims to provide a financially accessible and community-focused service which is fit-for-purpose for the people of western Sydney.
