Health and Physical Education Facilities

Health and Physical Education have the following facilities:

• Four full size courts marked out for playing tennis, volleyball, soccer, basketball, badminton and futsal

  

• Sports gym includes equipment such as treadmills, cycle ergometers, rowers, power cage and numerous free weights and machines

  

• Dance and gymnastics studio

  

• Access to outdoor oval

New Equipment

New equipment has recently been purchased for both teaching and research and includes:

• Team Polar heart rate monitoring system – caters up to 20 athletes
• GPS sporting system – caters up to 25 athletes
• Wireless electronic gate timing systems

Future developments

• Court cover on the tennis courts to provide all weather access

The Human Sciences Technical Team provides support for teaching and research needs within the facility, and for community engagement activities within the School.
