Humanities Studies Research Collective
The Humanities Religious Studies Research Collective, based in the School of Humanities and Communication Arts, represents scholarly research on religion from multi-disciplinary approaches. The Religious Studies Collective’s broad objective is to promote humanities-led research to facilitate a vibrant scholarly culture for research success.
A principal goal of the Collective is to advance the study of religion in ways that deepen contemporary understanding. Central to this aim are historical and philosophical approaches that illuminate the past and shape how we interpret it in the present. The research encompasses both experimental and theoretical inquiry to generate new knowledge, as well as applied work that draws on existing insights to address specific challenges.
